A film without a plan for using it. A beautiful website with no clear next step. A digital idea without a defined user. You can spot these gaps before they become part of the production.
01 / Film & content
First the scene. Then the camera.
Booking a camera is not the same as planning a film. Start with what viewers should understand and where they will watch it. A silent website introduction needs different images from an interview that relies on sound.
Four decisions for your brief
Purpose: Which service or person should viewers understand? Write the one sentence you want them to take away.
Use: Website, presentation or social? Agree aspect ratios, sound, subtitles and versions before the shoot.
Recording: Which locations and people are available? Noise, light, space and access affect the equipment and crew.
Delivery: Agree versions, revisions and usage rights. Discuss music, talent and source footage explicitly.
RELAY uses our footage on its homepage and bus transfer page. Planning for both uses means capturing an overview as well as the details people need to see.
Our partner DiZi Rental can be approached for additional equipment. Its FAQ asks for the equipment and rental period so availability can be checked. The final equipment list follows from the recording plan.
“A new website” describes the surface. The task behind it might be choosing an appointment, requesting a service or applying for a job. Each needs different information and a clear confirmation of what happens next.
Two projects. Different tasks.
Mona Babadi: Visitors need to understand both the person and the beauty services. The website connects treatment information with separate booking links for Cologne and Frankfurt. Appointments are booked through the external Shore service.
BPM Mazhari: Project owners need information about construction services; applicants need their own entrance. Separate paths help each group find the right questions and recipient.
Test the whole process on a phone and desktop: find the information, take the action and receive an understandable confirmation. For a form, check that the message reaches its intended destination. A success message alone does not prove delivery. An email link only opens an email app; the visitor still needs to send the message there.
MVMNTS defines these steps before development and checks the agreed functions before handover. Hosting, maintenance, external services and later additions are specified separately in the project scope.
03 / New formats
A virtual space still needs a reason to exist.
Before a brand appears in a game world, ask why someone would interact with it. A useful task, relevant content or a place to explore could be a starting point. A logo alone does not answer that question.
Our partner THEGAME:CGN is developing a virtual world around Cologne. Its official website describes it as in development as of October 2026. Available features and planned additions therefore need to be assessed separately before a project is agreed.
Who is this for, and what occasion makes it relevant?
What can people use today, and what needs to be developed?
Who will create and maintain the content, and which rights are needed?
Which observable action would help you evaluate the trial?
MVMNTS can develop the idea, film and design for an agreed format. Scope, technical implementation and availability are established together; audience size and results are not promised in advance.
